Around and round it goes, continuing her endless pilgrimage around the spires. Night after night it takes form, its essence emanating from the smoke stack before coalescing into it's otherworldly shape.
What draws the spirit to this place? Is it the location of their death or that of a loved one? Does it have some unfinished business on this earth or is this some form of eternal punishment for actions committed in their previous life?
The onlooker's on the ground, brave enough to gaze upon it, continue to speculate. Their only clue is that of her wailing. A soft, mournful cry that echoes in her wake. This moaning draws other, lesser apparitions to trail behind, all on their own never ending journey through this purgatory...
