About

Max Miller was born, raised, and works out of the Pacific Northwest as an illustrator. There he laid the groundwork for his future as a child, lying on the floor, drawing, while his father worked and his mother went back to school.

While initially attending Spokane Falls Community College and later Eastern Washington University planning to become a history teacher, Max would eventually succumb to his love of the arts after taking a drawing class as an elective. After years of study, critique, and discipline, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2020. His diploma is prominently featured in a drawer somewhere.

Max’s art is a mix of his Germanic heritage, seen in their fairy tale inspiration, and the Japanese animations he consumed in his formative years, represented by their cartoonish style, but like him is completely American, displayed by their bold attitude.
